Few employees can boast 22 years with the same employer yet the appointment of Andrew Clarke of Exide Technologies to the position of Account Manager marks the pinnacle of a career that started on the shop floor.

Andrew started in the Operations Department as a Charging Bay Technician in 1988. Over the years he has worked in all aspects of the business including sales administration/service management and facility management before joining a European Project Team in 2003. Since then he has worked on subsequent European projects including supply chain engineering, IT system replacements and business case modelling.

His new role, as Senior Key Account Manager for Motive Power in the UK, will help him realise a long standing ambition in bringing Exide Technologies' strength through their European supply chain and deep product portfolio to the UK market. Customers will benefit from a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge. Andrew comments, “With increasing focus on efficient energy usage, I look forward to ensuring that those customers managing and providing equipment for MH solutions are getting the best advice, product and service available”
